DATA ENGINEER

We are looking for a Data Engineer to be part of our team.

• He/She is accountable for the maintenance and modernization of the companys data architecture including legacy SSRS and modern SQL Server and Power BI environments.
• He/She will work within the data team to help identify data of value, manage the ETL of this data to the data warehouse, model the data appropriately and work with data analysts to develop dashboards.
• He/She will work to continuously improve the company's data ecosystem. This role will work cross functionally to document and understand business requirements and operational goals associated with the data and work to ensure those goals are realized.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures all data loads to the data warehouse occur according to schedule and remediates any issues
• Ensures all data warehouse data is modeled in an appropriate schema to achieve business goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation and a data dictionary associated with all data in the data warehouse.
• Works cross functionality to identify and incorporate operational changes that have downstream data impacts.
• Works cross functionally to develop requirements for new data loads. Ensures data models are constructed and builds, tests, automates, and monitors ETL packages using best practices.
• Works to promote data governance within the organization.
• Works to ensure data security requirements are met.
• Develops ad hoc data queries using SQL and tests for accuracy.
• Maintain legacy SSRS reports.
• Provide expertise in usage of Power BI.
• Ensures optimal performance of the SQL Server environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years SQL and Data Engineer experience preferably in SQL Server/Power BI environment.
• Experience developing and managing ETL processes/jobs.
• At least 2 years experience using Python in a data environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric a plus.
• Experience leading data governance.
• Experience with Master Data Management.
• Hands on experience administering SQL Server.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player
• Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to work in a hybrid set up at 6F Rockwell Business Center Tower 1, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City (beside The Medical City).
