As a Data Engineer at TechX, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering world-class data platforms, data modernization, and data analytics solutions — using advanced architecture and cloud services for our enterprise customers. The role focuses on our AI and operational-intelligence platform, building the data foundation that powers analytics and intelligent automation across CloudOps and DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Data Architect, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists to design and implement data warehouse, data analytics, and data lake solutions at scale, leveraging modern microservices architecture and AWS data services.

• Focus on automation and optimization across data platform maintenance and deployment — with emphasis on data pipelines, big-data processing, data platform design, and self-service analytics.

• Dive into unique and non-standard business problems, working closely with technical and business teams, and apply creative problem-solving to deliver actionable insights.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years in Data Engineering.

• Experience with query languages (SQL), schema definition (e.g., DDL), and scripting (Python, Terraform) to build data solutions.

• Proficiency or first experience in technical architecture, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytics tools.

• Exposure to distributed-system concepts, particularly data storage and computing (e.g., data lake architectures).

• Hands-on experience with AWS Big Data services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, EMR, RDS, and Redshift.

• Familiarity with at least one BI/reporting tool (Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI).

• Basic knowledge of DBA tasks and SQL performance tuning.
