Job Description

Air Liquide Laboratories is one of the main R&D centers of the Air Liquide group. Its goal is to develop new and innovative solutions for the entire Air Liquide group. Air Liquide Laboratories is located at Innovation Campus Tokyo, inaugurated in March 2019. The new facility promotes collaboration with customers, start-up companies and academic partners. It gathers researchers and workers from all around the world in order to promote a multicultural work environment and skills diversity. The Campus develops the latest thin film deposition and etching technologies for applications in electronics, batteries and fuel cells, as well as strategies and solutions for the entire supply chain, production, purification, storage, transportation and distribution of low carbon hydrogen.

Automate and scale the extraction of scientific and technical data from unstructured documents using advanced AI technologies.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The main responsibilities will be:

• Pipeline Architecture: Solidify data structure choices to enable static batch extraction from diverse formats.
• Extraction: Leverage the latest AI technologies to automate data extraction.
• Data Formatting & UI Integration: Structure extracted data to seamlessly feed end-user applications.
• Tool Development: Build a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) for non-data scientists to validate data, create an export tool based on data attributes.
• Algorithmic Optimization: Assist in developing statistical exploration methods with smart, data-driven sampling and prevent computational bottlenecks.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Deliver timely and concise updates in internal meetings.
• Safety: Join and actively contribute to safety and cybersecurity activities within ALL.

職務内容

• データ処理の仕組み（パイプライン）づくり:様々な形式のデータを取り込めるよう、最適なデータの持ち方を設計し、安定して動くデータ処理の土台を構築します。

• AIを活用したデータ抽出の自動化: 最新のAI技術を駆使して、ドキュメントからのデータ抽出作業の自動化をリードします。

• データの整形とシステム（UI）連携: 抽出したデータを、社内のユーザーが使うアプリケーションへスムーズに連携できるよう、扱いやすい形に整理・加工します。

• 社内向けツールの開発: データサイエンティスト以外のメンバーでも簡単にデータをチェックできるような、直感的で使いやすい画面（GUI）を開発します。また、必要な条件（属性）でデータを絞り込んでダウンロードできるエクスポートツールも作成します。

• データ処理の効率化（最適化）: 大量のデータを効率よく処理するため、統計的なアプローチを取り入れた賢いデータサンプリング手法の開発をサポートし、システムの処理遅延（ボトルネック）を防ぎます。

• チーム内での共有とコラボレーション: 社内ミーティングにおいて、プロジェクトの進捗や成果をタイムリーかつ分かりやすくメンバーに共有します。

• 安全なデータ運用の管理（セキュリティ）: 社内におけるデータの安全性向上や、サイバーセキュリティ対策の取り組みに積極的に参加・貢献します。

Are you a MATCH?

Required skills / Desired profile:

• Education/Experience: Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Extensive experience in data mining, automated document extraction, database structuring, and pipeline architecture.

• Cloud & AI Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Cloud platforms.

• Knowledge in chemistry, organometallics and semi-conductor processing is appreciated.

• Languages: English.

• Soft Skills: autonomous, effective team player, strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset.

• 情報、情報工学、情報システム工学、コンピュータサイエンス、またはそれらの関連分野における修士号以上の学位

• 技術スキル

• データマイニング、ドキュメントの自動抽出、データベース構造化、およびパイプラインアーキテクチャに関する豊富な実務経験

• クラウドプラットフォーム（AWS、GCP、Azureなど）を用いた、実践的な開発・運用経験

• 語学力：英語：ビジネスレベル必須。社内公用語は英語です(メール、ミーティング等)。日本語： 会話レベルであれば尚可。

• 上記職務内容・責任に記載された事項を独立した研究者として遂行可能な方

• 国際的な組織の中で、様々な立場の人々と良好な関係を構築できるコミュニケーション能力に優れた方
