Your Key Accountabilities
  • Gather, analyze, design, and implement data-related requirements and optimization initiatives
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for extracting data from cloud and on-premise systems into a Data Lake
  • Build and manage large, complex datasets aligned with business needs
  • Configure data workflows to optimize ETL/ELT processes across multiple data sources
  • Evaluate current data architecture and recommend improvements
  • Develop analytics tools to generate actionable business insights (e.g., customer acquisition, operational performance)
  • Create small data-driven applications to support analytics and data science teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and data deliver
Who we are looking for
Technical Skills

Strong expertise in SQL and relational databasesExperience with big data pipelines, architectures, and datasetsHands-on experience with:
  • ETL tools Databricks, DBT, Azure Data Factory
  • Databases SQL & NoSQL systems
  • File formats Parquet, JSON, CSV, XML
  • Programming languages Python, Java, C++, PowerShell, DAX

Experience with Azure Data Services and DatabricksKnowledge of message queues, stream processing, and scalable data storesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps
Nice To Have
  • Experience or understanding of Data Mesh architecture
  • SAP knowledge
  • Azure data-related certifications
  • German language skills
Key Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working with structured and unstructured dataExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Self-driven with strong organizational and leadership abilities
