The Role

As we continue to grow and scale, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. This position will play a key role in enhancing our data architecture, building robust data pipelines, and ensuring seamless data ingestion across various systems. You’ll be working alongside our talented team of engineers ensuring that our data flows efficiently and is easily accessible for all teams to leverage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Extract-Transform-Load (ETL/ELT) processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Deploy and manage both relational and NoSQL databases to meet diverse application needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and full-stack developers to ensure data availability and quality.
• Optimize and monitor the performance of data workflows to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to best practices for data governance, security, and integration.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) or Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) processes.
• Solid experience in deploying and managing both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelining and scheduling technologies such as Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Bonus: Experience with data ingestion within an Azure environment.
