The Data Engineer focuses on acquiring data from various sources that are found in a Health System-s ecosystem. The Data Engineer leverages existing data operating system to acquire data. Data Engineers become accustomed to both the technical and business details of the source systems and engage with multiple technologies on how to acquire the source data. Performs tasks assignments related to sourcing data and maintaining a stable data platform; solid to intermediate skills level
*Contribute to design, development and implementation of scalable custom solutions that require extensibility either via SSIS or Plugins, APIs, etc.
*Perform tasks and assignments related to bringing new source systems into the data operating System
*Work with team members to build a common understanding of best practices and design principles
*Participate in design and technology review sessions to understand new/deprecated features and their impacts to implementation process along with provide feedback to the technology team
*Manage individual workload and project requirements and timelines

* Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or healthcare-related degree
* 2+ years' experience in healthcare/technology-related field
* Ability to code and comprehend code around technologies that deal with acquiring data
Preferred Experience and/or training in continuous improvement methodologies including Lean & Six Sigma, Change Management, Facilitation Skills and Project Management
