Requirements

We are seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in data ingestion from various sources, across different technologies and legacy systems. Your primary focus will be on building cloud-based solutions that handle complex data sets and support strategic analysis. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the success of agile projects from design through deployment. Your role will involve developing ETL pipelines using cloud analytics infrastructure to process data and contributing to all phases of the process—from preparation and analysis to visualization and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Analysis and Design:
  Analyze business requirements and assess feasibility within the project framework, including adjustments to cloud infrastructure and existing ETL/ELT processes.
• 
  Development:
  Update or create new ETL pipelines based on approved designs. Develop deployment and testing scenarios.
• 
  Documentation:
  Ensure all development work is documented in Azure DevOps and added to the appropriate knowledge base.
• 
  Training:
  Share your expertise with team members and stakeholders, helping them understand complex technical information.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  Strong communication skills
• 
  Proficiency in data processing languages such as SQL and Python
• 
  Experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure services
• 
  Basic knowledge of MS Azure services, including Storage Accounts, Azure AI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Key Vault
• 
  Understanding of authentication and security practices in cloud environments.
