Job Description

You’ll be focused in• Creating and maintaining data pipeline architecture• Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements• Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies• Building analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics• Managing the data architecture for data ingestion, pipeline setup and data curation• Manipulating data at scale, getting data in a ready-to-use state in close alignment with various business and Spoke stakeholders.
In order to succeed, you’ll need• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience• Strong experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets• Experience building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management• Experience automating processes with Python scripting language• Strong knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC)• Experience designing and integrating systems via APIs and event-driven architectures• Strong communication and analytical skills • Great English skills, both written and spoken. 
Nice to have• Experience with cloud-native data processing and orchestration approaches such as AWS Batch, Step Functions, Glue workflows)• Experience with ML and GenAI workloads on AWS such as SageMaker, Bedrock)• Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability in cloud environments• Experience with streaming or distributed data systems (e.g. Kafka, Spark) is a plus but not required
