Purpose-led workyou’llbe part of

As a Director in our Data & AI team, you will lead the design and delivery of transformative, large-scale data modernisation programmes for leading enterprise clients. Your focus will be onleveragingAzure and Microsoft Fabric architectures to help organisations achieve secure, scalable, and future-ready data platforms. You will engage in every stage of the client lifecycle—from early-stage sales and technical solution shaping, through architecture design, delivery oversight, and driving technology adoption. This role will see you working closely with both C-level business leaders and technical teams to align data strategies with business transformationobjectives Your experience in complex data environments, especially in health systems, will position you to make a real impact on how clients manage, integrate, and derive value from their data.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Guidesales and technical pre-sales activities for Azure and Microsoft Fabric-based data modernisation solutions, working with clients to shape opportunities and define requirements.

  • Architect end-to-end data platform solutions, integrating Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and related services.

  • Oversee and assure the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and meet business, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide strategic technical leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with best practices in data architecture and cloud adoption.

  • Build and manage senior client relationships, including C-suite and technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on data transformation and analytics strategy.

  • Enableadoption of next-generation data platforms, supporting clients in data migration, integration, and operationalisation of modern architectures.

  • Support,nurtureandempowerhigh-performing teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and knowledge sharing across PwC.

  • Stay current on emerging Azure and Fabric technologies, data governance, security, and industry trends—proactivelyidentifyingopportunities for innovation and service improvement.

As a Directorin PwC, you will be expectedtoalso:

  • Guidebusiness development activities toidentifyopportunities on new/existing clients

  • Develop market awareness of PwC’s technology brand and service offerings

  • Continue to develop industry relationships and your PwC brand

  • Lead, train, coach and supervise a small team of technical resources

  • Lead the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Lead a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Partners

  • Lead thefinancial managementof clients

  • Cultivatestrong working relationships with senior business, technology and change management stakeholders, in the capacity of a trusted advisor on Data matters

  • Establishstrategic alliances, and lead joint ventures with key IT suppliers and business partners

  • Communicate the practical implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to executive, business, technicaldeliveryand IT management stakeholders

Your Profile:

  • 15+ years’ experience in the design, delivery, and leadership of large-scale enterprise data platforms and transformation programmes, with a primary focus on Azure cloud services and Microsoft Fabric.

  • Deepexpertisein architecting and integrating Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and related modern data ecosystem tools.

  • Demonstratedtrack recordleading sales pursuits, technical pre-sales, solution shaping, and end-to-end delivery in a consulting or professional services environment.

  • Strong background in data platform security, governance, regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and operational best practices.

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior business and technology stakeholders, including C-level executives, architects, and engineering leads.

  • Practical knowledge of data warehousing, data lake, datalakehouse, ETL/ELT processes, real-time data integration, and analytics enablement on Azure.

  • Experience with healthcare data architectures and the secondary use of EHR/PAS data for research or analytics is highly desirable.

  • Proven leadership in developing, mentoring, and managing teams in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.

  • Proventrack recordof successfully delivering complex projects within a consulting or professional services environment

  • Experience leading and inspiring teams of technical consultants onshore,nearshoreand offshore

  • Experience with large-scale Data strategy development acrossthe healthindustry

  • Knowledge of key data trends (e.g. AI and machine learning integration, cloud data solutions, data collaboration and sharing, data democratisation)
