Job Description

Key Responsibilities Lead Customer Data Discovery & Assessment

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand customer legacy ERP data structures, business processes, and migration objectives.
  • Assess customer source systems and evaluate data readiness for migration.
  • Identify data quality issues, gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies that may impact migration success.
  • Define migration scope, priorities, and success criteria in collaboration with customers and project teams.

Data Analysis & Migration Planning

  • Analyze legacy ERP and accounting data to determine migration requirements and business impact.
  • Develop functional data mapping specifications between legacy systems and NetSuite.
  • Define business rules for data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure technical migration activities align with business requirements.
  • Recommend phased migration approaches, archival strategies, and data governance best practices.

Data Validation & Quality Assurance

  • Review and validate migration outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and business readiness.
  • Coordinate customer reviews of migrated data and facilitate business signoff.
  • Support reconciliation activities by comparing legacy and NetSuite data to resolve discrepancies.
  • Participate in mock migrations, cutover planning, and post-go-live validation.

Customer Success & Advisory

  • Advise customers on data governance, master data management, and long-term data maintenance practices.
  • Educate customers on NetSuite data models and migration best practices.
  • Communicate migration progress, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Functional Consultants, Data Engineers, Technical Services, and Project Managers to deliver successful implementations.
  • Review migration deliverables to ensure functional accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Contribute to migration methodologies, templates, documentation, and best practices.
  • Continue to increase NetSuite product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems, data migration, business analysis, or ERP consulting.
  • Proven experience analyzing and preparing data for ERP implementations or migrations.
  • Strong understanding of ERP data structures, master data, transactional data, and business processes.
  • Experience developing data mapping specifications and validating migrated data.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating across functional and technical project teams.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite ERP implementation, consulting, or administration experience.
  • Experience leading functional data migration workstreams during ERP implementations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality best practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation and analysis (advanced development experience not required).
  • Experience working with data migration or integration tools such as Celigo, Dell Boomi, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Accounting, finance, supply chain, or operations domain experience.
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, or other relevant Oracle/NetSuite certifications.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing consulting experience with demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and deliver successful ERP projects.
