What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Cleanser, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our business data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Your responsibilities will include:

Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance

• Reviewing and cleansing large datasets to identify and correct:
• Duplicate records
• Missing or incomplete information
• Inconsistent formats and values
• Data entry errors
• Identifying and updating key decision-makers across core business technology stacks
• Validating data accuracy across multiple systems and sources
• Standardising data in line with agreed business rules and data standards
• Performing regular data quality checks and audits

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Working closely with data, operational, and business teams to resolve data-related issues
• Supporting data migration, reconciliation, and system change activities where required
• Documenting data issues, cleansing rules, and corrective actions taken
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality and processes

Compliance & Governance

• Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and information security requirements, including GDPR

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a data cleansing, data quality, or data administration role
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
• Experience using Excel or similar data handling tools, including:
• Filtering
• Validation
• Pivot tables
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and precision
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with databases, CRM, ERP, or data management systems
• Basic SQL or data querying knowledge
• Familiarity with data governance or data quality frameworks
• Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
• Previous experience working within a target-driven environment
