We are seeking experienced data centre project management professionals at Manager or Senior Manager level to support the planning, design and pre-construction phases of a major data centre campus development. Working as a trusted extension of the client's team, you will drive high-quality design outcomes, maintain rigorous governance, manage risks, and provide strong leadership across a complex, fast-paced project environment.
The role suits a proactive and commercially aware project manager with direct data centre or mission critical experience, who can coordinate complex workstreams, maintain momentum across design milestones, and guide the project through detailed design, construction tendering and funding processes.
What will your typical day look like?
Working closely with the client and client stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities and project objectives, operating as an integrated extension of the client's team.
Leading front-end planning and project management activities for a complex data centre campus development, establishing the framework for high-quality design, robust governance and successful downstream delivery.
Driving superior design outcomes by ensuring the design process aligns with agreed project guidelines, standards and client requirements.
Managing and track key design milestones to achieve quality outcomes across concept, planning and detailed design phases.
Ensure tasks, actions and deliverables are clearly defined, coordinated and followed through to completion.
Identifying project risks, issues and dependencies, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies with the project team and stakeholders.
Supporting and coordinate the transition from planning and design into procurement and delivery phases.
Providing support during construction tender and funding processes, including management of design clarifications, stakeholder queries and RFIs, ensuring responses are timely and the overall process is seamless.
Coordinating across client teams, consultants, designers and other project stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress.
Establishing and maintain excellent stakeholder engagement throughout the full project lifecycle.
Preparing and contribute to reporting, governance forums, project controls and decision-making processes.
Monitoring programme, quality and stakeholder commitments to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Proven experience in project management, front-end planning, design management or development management on data centre, mission critical or similarly complex built environment projects — essential.
Direct experience working on hyperscale or large-scale data centre campus developments is highly regarded.
Experience working in client-facing or embedded advisory roles across multiple stakeholder groups.
Strong understanding of data centre design development processes, technical requirements, milestone management and quality assurance.
Demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies effectively.
Experience supporting projects through detailed design, tendering and pre-construction activities, including management of clarifications, RFIs and stakeholder inputs.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure follow-through.
