We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

But we’re not stopping there. We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices that rewards users in Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centres and other energy-intensive industries.

We are looking for a Data Centre Manager to help build the foundation for the next generation of AI. This is a fully hands-on deployment role where you will act as the lead technical specialist, owning the end-to-end technical execution, fitout, and physical deployment of our decentralised compute pods across the UK. You will have full ownership of turning empty spaces or colocation data halls into high-density, fully operational computing sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution and infrastructure setup for our UK decentralised compute sites, ensuring each location meets the highest standards for performance and efficiency.
• Conduct early-stage technical evaluations and engineering screenings of prospective spaces and colocation data halls.
• Drive the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, from initial site assessment and hardware selection through to physical installation, site commissioning, and transition to live operations.
• Act as the primary technical lead on-site, working directly on the floor alongside external contractors and internal teams to bring sites online.
• Directly coordinate and execute technical fitouts, physical logistics, equipment rigging, and high-density hardware deployments.
• Drive the physical installation, plumbing validation, and maintenance of direct-to-chip liquid cooling loops and localised infrastructure.
• Enforce rigorous structural, mechanical, and electrical safety standards across all physical sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering new infrastructure projects, executing data centre fitouts, or leading critical operations within colocation or hyperscale environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of mission-critical facilities infrastructure (power distribution, backup UPS, high-density power delivery) with a willingness to be hands-on during deployments.
• Direct experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) hardware setups, advanced GPU rack architectures, or managing high-density data suites.
• Practical understanding or experience with liquid cooling systems or critical facility infrastructure plumbing.
• Highly autonomous, self-directed, and completely comfortable taking full ownership of physical infrastructure projects and on-site facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
