Job Description

Our Client is a company that develops and operates data center infrastructure in Asia.

With the expansion of their projects, they are looking for Critical Facilities Managers. They will oversee the infrastructure and systems that keep a data center operational, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance. This includes managing critical systems like power, cooling, and physical security. The role involves leading teams, coordinating maintenance, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Managing and maintaining critical systems like power, cooling, and fire suppression.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Ensuring that equipment is inspected and maintained to prevent failures.
  • Emergency Response: Developing and implementing plans for responding to emergencies and disasters, including training staff.
  • Security: Ensuring that facilities are secure and that unauthorized access is prevented.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that facilities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Staff Training: Training staff on emergency procedures and how to operate critical systems.
  • Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for facility operations and maintenance.
  • Vendor Management: Sourcing and managing vendors for critical equipment and services.
  • Change Management: Implementing and managing changes to critical systems.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with critical facilities.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in data center facilities management or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong technical skills, leadership skills, communication skills, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment are essential.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as the Facility Manager (FM) certification, may be beneficial.
