Job Description

To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building Global Energy Expertise on hyper-scale data centers around the world that host hundreds of thousands of servers.

We are looking for a passionate and structured project manager to support key power and energy functions, including power availability analysis and power reliability due diligence for site expansion. You will work closely with Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Operations, Capacity Planning and Global Supply Chain teams to manage complex construction and service projects in the Americas and EMEA regions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with managing complex projects and building constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Lead utility and power due diligence for existing and future data center portfolios in support of site acquisition and operation.
- Manage data center energy supply, and identify markets with power availability that meet short-term and long-term demands.
- Support lifecycle power management process from power reservation application, interconnection permitting, energization to reliability monitoring in greenfield, brownfield and/or power shell data center models.
- Conduct energy cost analysis and drive initiatives to optimize the budget structure.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115200 - $288000 annually.
