About the role:

Carrier is looking for an accomplished National Data Center Service Leader to drive service excellence and provide operational leadership for the Carrier Commercial Service Data Center vertical across the United States. This pivotal role will guide a team of field service professionals, ensuring superior customer outcomes, seamless transitions, and lasting partnerships throughout every phase of the data center lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of field service experts to meet evolving data center customer needs, ensuring strong, long-term relationships and consistent delivery of the CCS DC vertical’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Data Center's Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), supporting startup, commissioning, and initial warranty activities, and formulating plans for smooth transition into ongoing warranty, repair, and service relationships.
  • Post-transition, ensure the effective execution of ongoing warranty, repair, and service agreements, maintaining high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion EHS compliance across all data center service, startup, commissioning, and warranty activities, cultivating a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team, supporting succession planning and organizational strength.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience, taking ownership of escalations, proactively managing risks, and driving resolution of critical milestones across all delivery nodes.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between IPMT, AM leadership, sales, project delivery, and service lifecycle, ensuring tight alignment and collaborative growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 10 + years of experience in field operations
  • 5 + years of experience managing teams and multi-site environments.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in data center infrastructure service, commissioning, or mission-critical facility operations, including HVAC or mechanical systems supporting hyperscale or enterprise date centers.
  • Strong experience supporting data center startup, commissioning, and warranty lifecycle activities, including coordination with Integrated Project Management Teams (IPMT) and project delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in field service leadership, national service operations, and multi-site team management supporting mission-critical environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management, change management, scope control, and operational documentation practices across complex technical service environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving reliability, and supporting revenue growth in service organizations.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams across multiple regions and business units.

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Pay Range:

The annual salary for this position is $178,750–$250,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
