Data Center Rack & Stack Analyst (Contract)

Position Details

  • Contract position
  • Onsite, Monday–Friday, 1st shift hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • 6 month contract with strong possibility of extension
  • $55/hour
  • Target start date: ASAP

Position Overview

Seeking intermediate-level Data Center Rack & Stack Analyst to support day-to-day operations for a large retail client within an enterprise data center environment. This role is focused on hands-on execution and physical infrastructure support rather than senior-level architecture or engineering responsibilities. Very busy position!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, and rack servers and related hardware
  • Mount rails, brackets, and supporting equipment
  • Perform structured cabling, patching, labeling, and cable management
  • Validate power connections and connectivity
  • Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Manage inventory, equipment staging, and asset handling
  • Provide general physical data center support and operational assistance
