Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience executing strategic initiatives from conception through delivery within a global enterprise environment.
• Experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure, and network and compute architecture and life cycle, and Linux/Unix system administration.
• Ability to lead and improve Environmental Health and Safety initiatives.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

As a Hardware Operations Manager at Google, you will lead Data Center Technicians managing the physical infrastructure behind Google’s search technology. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
