About the Team
The global data center operation team supports the company's fast growth by operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.
Centered on ByteDance’s global data center layout, build a highly standardized, worldwide infrastructure monitoring system. You will drive the planning and implementation of standardized weak current and monitoring access solutions across key regions including Mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Ensure the implementability of monitoring capabilities and timeliness of alarms, and ultimately build industry-leading global DCIM monitoring and data governance capabilities to underpin the stable operation of global businesses.

Responsibilities：
1. Take charge of global infrastructure monitoring access and data governance. Collaborate with project teams and vendor partners to address technical and compliance challenges in localized data integration, and guarantee on-time project delivery.
2. Formulate global unified standards for monitoring data, interface specifications and cybersecurity solutions. Participate in the optimization of the global integrated infrastructure monitoring access architecture. Unify device naming, topology labeling rules and data quality verification for multiple systems such as power environment, power supply, security (access control & CCTV), and BA systems. Ensure the consistency and scalability of monitoring systems across all regions and countries.
3. Lead global monitoring data governance initiatives. Analyze and resolve data quality issues throughout the access process, promote end-to-end quality assurance for data collection, transmission and application, and build a closed-loop operation and maintenance data system.
4. Cooperate with engineering teams to adapt and deploy standardized monitoring solutions globally, especially in Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Participate in product planning and requirement definition for the DCIM platform, abstract frontline O&M demands into platform capabilities, and advance digitalization and automation of daily O&M work.
5. Design and iterate functional modules of the facility monitoring platform. Collect feedback from global users to drive product upgrades, and improve data availability, platform stability and alarm real-time performance.
