Under direct supervision of the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, the Data Center Engineer Consultant is responsible for maintaining the data center and office environments and ensuring all customer server environments are secure, operational, and highly available through continuous proactive monitoring, customer support, and scheduled maintenance preparation.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Demonstrates LAN/WAN topology knowledge.
• Executes daily computer room work.
• Performs server hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Utilizes the proper tools to perform copper and fiber cable certification and troubleshooting.
• Works with and maintains small parts. Records transactions in inventory control database.

MS Office Suite, Inventory Control Software (RedBeam), Environmental Monitoring Software (RF Code), Security Surveillance Software (Genetec)
