Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Design & Construction Project Manager to join our Data Centers team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle delivery of data center "refresh" design and construction projects across the US to ensure 100% uptime and extended facility life. You will transform existing data centers into efficient revenue generators by collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable solutions.

In this role, you will:
Lead Project Delivery: Manage multidisciplinary teams and project controls—including budget, schedule, and risk—to drive the "refresh" of aging data centers from site assessment through facility activation.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner closely with IMDC operations, internal departments, and external vendors to align technical, safety, and delivery protocols across various US jurisdictions.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Oversee design development and commissioning activities to ensure all projects strictly adhere to building codes, international standards, and organizational safety policies.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
5–10 years of experience in mission-critical MEP, data centers, or high-tech labs, specifically within "live" operating environments.
Strong knowledge of technical systems, including MEP, UPS, chillers, and BMS, along with proficiency in project tools like Procore and Bluebeam.
Proven ability in leadership and project management, with the capacity to manage complex, multi-project environments and lead procurement under AIA-type documents.
A degree in Engineering or Construction/Project Management or equivalent experience and preferably a PMP certification.
What We Offer (Benefits)
Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your experience.
Paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance.
Flexible and hybrid work options available depending on the project phase.
Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans
Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within a global organization.
