About the role and the team
GlobalConnect operates 11 data centers in Denmark and even more in the other countries where GlobalConnect is present. In addition to the ongoing operation and maintenance of our existing Data centers, there are also large expansions in the pipeline. As our new Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer, you will be part of the Site Operations department with over 45 skilled team members, with colleagues in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany and with employees from many nationalities, enabling you to work in a multinational environment.
Site Operations Denmark is a workplace with focus on a good working environment. We focus on professional and personal well-being and emphasize good working relationships. Through your work as a Critical Facilities, you will have the chance to engage with every facet of managing a data center. You will experience flexibility in relation to your everyday life and a large degree of freedom under responsibility. You can also expect that most days you will be met with exciting projects and tasks that ensures no workdays are the same.
Moreover, you will have an important role being an essential part of the rotational 24x7 on-call system, also having the requirement to work overtime, reflecting the continuous nature of data center operations as a Data Center never sleeps. Based on these requirements, it would therefore also be beneficial if you are able to reach our Taastrup site within approx. 45 minutes.

With a blend of technical knowledge and hands-on experience, you are skilled at handling complex systems and processes and thrive in roles where critical infrastructure demands unwavering attention. You are detail-oriented, quick to respond to emergencies, and focused on developing and adhering to robust procedures. Your adaptability and communication skills enable you to work effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors alike.
