Data Business Analyst / Business Analyst Production & Logistics (m/f/d)

We drive operational excellence across global production sites. To enable data-driven decision-making right where the action happens, we don’t rely on rigid, off-the-shelf reporting. Instead, we build and scale our own tailored, internally developed data landscape. Our central Performance Management Tool for Operations and Supply Chain serves as the Single Point of Truth (SPOT) for our worldwide manufacturing plants, ensuring maximum transparency from executive management down to the shopfloor.

Responsibilities:

• Driving the SPOT Forward: You will be the driving force behind the functional and logical evolution of our Performance Management Tool for Operations and Supply Chain.
• Creating Shopfloor Transparency: You translate complex metrics from manufacturing, painting, assembly, and logistics (e.g., OEE, scrap rates, inventory levels) into intuitive, actionable dashboards.
• Bridging IT and Operations: You gather requirements directly from global plant teams and senior management, prioritize them, and guide the technical implementation of new features within the tool.
• Ensuring Data Integrity: You monitor data streams from our ERP, MES, and other source systems, ensuring that KPIs in the tool remain flawless, consistent, and available in real time.
• Ad-hoc Analysis & Advisory: During operational bottlenecks or optimization projects, you provide deep-dive data analyses and actionable insights to support management and plant teams.

Your Profile:

• Education: Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Production & Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Performance Management – ideally within a manufacturing environment / industry
• Operational Understanding: You are familiar with standard manufacturing and logistical metrics (OEE, lead times, quality rates) and know how to map operational processes into logical data models.
• Communication & Languages: English, German is a plus
