Business Data Analyst | Financial Services

Fantastic opportunity for a Business Data Analyst to join an innovative and reputable financial services organisation who are going through significant growth.

The role will engage with all business departments to understand business requirements and design and build data solutions accordingly.

The Role

• Maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders to develop excellent understanding of business needs and build solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Conduct analysis of the existing dataset to identify gaps
• Work with business teams to support data solution aspects and provide technical expertise
• Cross-functional collaboration to define and deliver data solutions and resolve any data quality issues
• Ensure that integrity and security of data is established and maintained
• Create and deliver regular reporting for the different business teams
• Continuously enhance reporting functionality to include new information
• Prepare and present analysis when required by senior management

The Person

• 3+ years of relevant experience within financial services
• Solution focused problem solver with a highly analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Great attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence strategies
• Experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL
• Good understanding of business analysis and project management methodologies
