They have a global footprint of 2,000+ data scientists and analysts who assist client organizations with complex risk minimization methods, advanced marketing, pricing and CRM strategies, internal cost analysis, and cost and resource optimization within the organization. They serve the insurance, healthcare, banking, capital markets, utilities, retail and e-commerce, travel, transportation and logistics industries.

ROLE

We are seeking a Data & BI Solution Architect who has significant experience in the Insurance domain in delivering efficient data-led solutions across business functions and leading collaboration with business, technology and analysts. This is a remote role with the potential to become hybrid.

• Experience in design, development of data architecture, data flows, Business Intelligence solutions leveraging the latest data/technology frameworks.
• Responsible for the design and storage of data in the database.
• Design and develop schema for BI solutions, system governance process and other data/BI asset management processes.
• Own the entire process of understanding the needs of various business groups, design & develop solutions with the technical team, own communication and deliverable quality, and govern the overall relationship.

Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:

Common Skillsets:

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience (with significant experience in the Insurance domain) in delivering efficient data-led solutions across business functions leading collaboration with business, technology and analysts.
• Led the design and architecture of various data engineering solutions, BI capability development business value-based implementation.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Relevant experience in data engineering, BI, or predictive modeling tools like Spark/ Azure Data factory/AWS/GCP/Python, SQLServer/Snowflake, and experience with other BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Specialize in performance tuning of ETL processes, data warehouses, data models, BI suite, model performance etc.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Guide onshore and offshore analysts to deliver data analytic solutions within the timelines with best practices and standards
• Lead by example in prototyping new features/solutions demonstrating practical application to the team showcasing best practices and efficient data processing techniques.
• Good knowledge of database management and SQL
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client-ready deliverable with minimal or no supervision
  • Good communication skills for client interaction

• Data Management Skillsets:
  • Should have a strong grasp of advanced SQL functionalities (joins, nested queries, and procedures).
  • Strong ability to translate functional specifications/requirements to technical requirements

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
