ABOUT THE TEAM

You'll join the Marketing Insights & Steering area within the Marketing Domain, where we enable data-driven decision-making across H&M's global marketing organisation. Our team plays a central role in understanding the impact of marketing, ensuring that investments across channels, markets and customer touchpoints are measurable, optimised and aligned with business goals.

We build and evolve the insights, measurement and reporting capabilities that help H&M understand how marketing drives customer behaviour and business results. By connecting data, technology and business needs, we enable smarter decisions and greater impact across the organisation.

Working closely with teams across Marketing, Marketing Tech and AI- Data & Analytics we help make trusted data more accessible and actionable across the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Data & BI Lead, you’ll shape the direction of data and business intelligence across H&M’s global marketing organisation. Working at the intersection of business, analytics and technology, you’ll ensure that marketing data is transformed into trusted, accessible and actionable insights that support better decisions.

You’ll set the long-term vision and roadmap for the Data & BI area while remaining close to the solutions, stakeholders and business challenges that shape our work. You’ll guide and support Data & BI Specialists, establish strong ways of working and help the team balance strategic development with operational delivery.

You will:

  • Lead the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap for Data & BI within H&M Global Marketing, ensuring our capabilities are aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Oversee the holistic marketing data and BI toolkit, ensuring that tools and solutions are consistent, governed and scalable across data areas.
  • Lead and support Data & BI Specialists by establishing best practices, enabling technical development and fostering collaboration across the team.
  • Drive prioritisation for the Data & BI area, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with operational needs.
  • Represent Marketing in cross-functional data and analytics initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong frameworks for data governance, data quality and ways of working that build trust and support operational excellence.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers and analysts to improve data knowledge, quality, accessibility and governance.
  • Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions and guide the development and optimisation of data models, dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen H&M’s technical and analytical landscape and develop solutions that create measurable business value.
  • Drive automation, standardisation and process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency and scalability.
  • Support the development of self-service capabilities that enable teams to access insights and make informed decisions more independently.

WHO YOU ARE

You combine strategic thinking with a strong understanding of analytical and technical solutions, and you know how to turn complex information into clear direction and actionable insights.

You’re comfortable moving between strategy and delivery, from setting a long-term roadmap and guiding specialists to working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and improve solutions. You bring structure to ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions and continuously look for better ways to use data to create business value.

You enjoy building strong partnerships across business and technology teams. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and can create alignment across stakeholders with different needs, perspectives and levels of data maturity.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions and large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Experience developing data and BI strategies, roadmaps and prioritisation processes.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, data quality and scalable reporting practices.
  • The ability to connect business needs with technical and analytical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

IT'S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH
