Data & Automation Partner (AI, Power Platform & Reporting Solutions)

The Metrics & Reporting Team is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Data & Automation Partner to support the next phase of its reporting transformation journey. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable technology solutions that automate data sourcing, streamline governance processes, enable self-service reporting, and accelerate adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.

The successful candidate will combine expertise in Power Platform, data integration, automation, analytics, and emerging AI technologies to help transform the Metrics & Reporting function from a reporting organization into a strategic insights and decision support capability. This role directly supports the team's objectives to increase automation, establish scalable reporting solutions, enhance governance workflows, and leverage AI to improve operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

AI and Automation Solutions

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, governance, and operational processes.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting quality, insights generation, metric analysis, and workflow effectiveness.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and emerging AI capabilities to enhance productivity and reporting outcomes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting challenges into scalable technology solutions.

Power Platform Development

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Apps to support metric intake, governance workflows, approvals, tracking, and reporting processes.
  • Develop Power Automate workflows to automate data collection, validations, notifications, approvals, and reporting activities.
  • Create user-friendly solutions that improve stakeholder experience and reduce operational overhead.

Data Integration and Engineering

  • Develop and maintain automated integrations with authoritative enterprise data sources.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and automated refresh processes to support management reporting and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Data & Technology teams to establish sustainable data sourcing models and reduce manual intervention.
  • Support data quality, lineage, controls, and governance requirements across reporting solutions.

Reporting and Analytics Enablement

  • Support development of enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI and related technologies.
  • Design scalable data models and reporting architectures that support future growth.
  • Enable self-service reporting capabilities for metric owners and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, operating models, and technology platforms.

Governance and Risk Management

  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise governance, risk, compliance, and control requirements.
  • Embed appropriate controls, auditability, and traceability into automation and reporting processes.
  • Support implementation of standardized reporting frameworks, governance workflows, and metric lifecycle management.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with risk, governance, operations, technology, and business teams to understand requirements and define solutions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
  • Provide technical consultation and thought leadership on automation, data integration, reporting technologies, and AI opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting technology, application development, automation, or business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated experience building enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting and automation solutions within complex organizations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
