Job Description

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $63,000 - $70,000

Start Date: Asap

About the Role:

At the core of our live operations, the Data Assurance Coordinator (DAC) plays a critical role in keeping our systems, servers, and data pipelines performing reliably and efficiently. This position serves as both a technical guardian and an operations partner - proactively monitoring system health, resolving issues before they impact performance, and enabling the team to stay focused on delivering game changing insights.

DACs thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, approach challenges with confidence, and take ownership as the first line of defense when workflows need attention. Your efforts directly ensure uninterrupted data flow, so coaches, players, and partners receive the insights they need without delay. In this role, you will bridge day-to-day operations with our Technical Operations team, helping to create a seamless, reliable data delivery process and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Actively monitor servers, storage, and network health during daily operations, quickly troubleshoot issues, and take ownership of driving timely resolutions to minimize impact.

  • Own the performance of the Data Share tool by actively monitoring, driving on-time delivery, and taking quick action to resolve delivery issues. Ownership of failure logs and driving tool changes for improvements.

  • Assist with calibration and Field Service requests, to monitor and own the on-shift demands related to optimal system performance.

  • Act as the first point of escalation for Data Processing Assistants and Supervisors, providing guidance and resolving workflow issues to maintain smooth operations.

  • Diagnose and resolve data and session challenges by troubleshooting internal tool failures, editing and validating XML configurations, verifying file paths and .bat executions, and addressing cloud processing or data transfer errors - ultimately, escalating critical issues to Tech Ops when necessary for rapid resolution.

  • Verify and test backups and rollback options regularly to guarantee business continuity during incidents.

  • Maintain precise, detailed shift logs capturing incidents, root causes, resolutions, and proactive measures taken.

  • Continuously update dashboards and reports to keep leadership and teammates aligned in real time.

  • Deliver clear, actionable handoff notes to ensure seamless transitions and uninterrupted operations between shifts.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • A collaborative and energetic environment that values curiosity, communication, and problem-solving

  • Opportunities to work with cutting-edge sports technology used by top-tier clients

  • The chance to make your mark on internal tools, processes, and product support systems

  • A team that genuinely supports each other and loves what they do

We’d Love to See:

  • A calm, solutions-focused problem solver who thrives in a live-operations environment.

  • A great communicator who can share updates quickly and clearly with teammates and stakeholders.

  • Someone who takes pride in teamwork — you love knowing that your work helps the whole team succeed.

  • Naturally curious and proactive — you catch issues early and look for ways to improve processes.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with sports data, motion capture, or system integration

  • Familiarity with scripting or simple automation tools

  • Knowledge of camera calibration or GPU performance monitoring

  • Experience in data processing operations, technical support, or a related role preferred.

  • Familiarity with servers, file systems, and basic troubleshooting steps (storage checks, remote monitoring, etc.).

  • Comfortable working shift-based schedules and staying focused during critical live events.

  • Strong written skills for documentation and reporting.
