Job Description

At Sonova R&D, we are shaping the future of hearing technology through data-driven innovation. As a Data Design Architect, you will play a key role in defining how data is structured, connected, and leveraged across our systems.

Working at the intersection of data architecture, AI, and connected hearing solutions, you will design scalable data models that enable next-generation innovation. More about the role

• Define and own the product data model, including data sourcing, logging, and relationships between system components
• Design scalable and robust data structures across hearing systems to enable AI-ready data
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and testability across the full data pipeline
• Drive the validation of data and reliability of insights used for decision-making
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across data architecture and engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data design with business and product needs

More about you

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software and data architecture at a senior level
• Proven experience designing data models in IoT, healthcare, or wearable device environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple technical domains and complex systems
• Passion for data-driven innovation and enabling AI use cases
