Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Design and implement cloud-native data architectures in all layers, applying best practices (CI/CD, testing, data quality, observability), working with DevOps on automation/IaCLead hands-on development of data pipelines and distributed workflowsArchitect and optimise Lakehouse/Data Warehouse solutions on Azure and Databricks, translating business and analytical requirements into scalable high-performance data modelsOwn technical delivery: design, estimation, governance, performance tuning, and support pre-sales and client discussions, whilst providing technical leadership and mentorship, reviewing codes and driving engineering excellence.
Your profileBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical fieldAt least 6 years of experience in cloud data engineering, with Azure and/or DatabricksProven experience building large-scale data platforms and leading technical teamsProficiency with Python/PySpark, SQL (T-SQL/KQL), Azure (Data Factory, ADLS, Fabric) and DatabricksSolid understanding of data architecture (Lambda, Medallion/Lakehouse, streaming), infrastructure design, DevOps and data governance/compliance, including Microsoft PurviewFluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.We believe that success lies in people and in your willingness to push boundaries.
