We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design solution-level data and technology architectures for complex industrial digital use cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with industrial data platforms and integrating operational technology (OT) systems with modern cloud and enterprise environments.

You will be responsible for translating business and operational requirements into scalable data solutions, designing integration architectures, and ensuring secure, governed, and reliable data flows across industrial and cloud ecosystems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design solution-level data architectures for industrial digital and operational use cases.
• Architect integrations between operational systems such as SCADA, PI Historian, OPC-UA, and MQTT and cloud or enterprise platforms.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, ETL, and ELT.
• Work with industrial data platforms and comparable solutions to structure, contextualize, and manage industrial data.
• Design cloud-based data solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
• Define data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption patterns based on solution requirements.
• Develop and document integration architectures using REST APIs and other data exchange mechanisms.
• Establish solution-level standards for data governance, security, access control, and data quality.
• Ensure secure and reliable deployment of data solutions across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, business, OT, cloud, and data teams to translate requirements into practical technical architectures.
• Evaluate technology choices and recommend appropriate platforms, tools, and architectural patterns.
• Create architecture documentation, technical designs, integration specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Support engineering teams during implementation and provide architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Cloud Data Architect, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud and data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong programming and scripting experience with Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing data models and data processing solutions.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience working with industrial data sources, operational technology, or industrial IoT environments.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, integration, processing, and pipeline architecture.
• Experience with secure deployment, data governance, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
