In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and managing the agency's overarching data architecture, playing a crucial part in bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution. Beyond modeling, you will design, maintain, and support ADOA’s data warehouse systems and data marts. Your expertise will ensure that all data structures are highly optimized, seamlessly integrated, and rigidly secure to support the evolving decision-making and operational needs of the state. If you are a collaborative leader passionate about transforming data into a secure, high-performing organizational asset, we invite you to help shape the future of Arizona's ERP landscape.

  • Bridge Gaps and Collaborate: Conduct detailed gap analyses to improve overall data quality, metadata, and cross-system integration. Partner closely with clients, technical staff, and cross-functional team members to plan, develop, and enhance database applications, scripts, procedures, and metadata.
  • Formulate Data and Recovery Strategies: Research business information needs to identify system requirements, generate comprehensive data acquisition and archive recovery strategies, and seamlessly integrate new data with the existing warehouse structure.
  • Establish Standards and Manage Vendor Relations: Develop and enforce organizational data standards in alignment with established structures and models, and consult with external vendors to successfully integrate specialized software packages.
