Job Role: Data Architect

and Expected Deliverables

Data Architect will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Enterprise data archiecture strategy with a particular focus on Private Markets primarily around Real Assets and Infrastructure.

Data Architect should have deep hands on experience in Data Modelling across complex financial instruments including multi-entity fund structures.

• Define and own the Enterprise data architecture for Private Markets investment operations, covering fund structures, portfolio company data, deal pipelines, valuations, capital calls and distributions.

• Design scalable, domain oriented data models that reflect the complexity or Real Assets, Private Credit and Infarstructure Asset classes.

• Produce and Maintain Architectural artefacts including Entity Relationship models, conceptual and logical data models.

Qualifications

Must have skills

GCP data architecture, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataplex, data modelling, data product architecture, data governance, security design, lineage, integration patterns, Airflow/dbt design understanding

Good to have skills

Collibra, Power BI semantic layer, IAM/security, migration experience, financial services / asset management domain

Core Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Archiecture preferably with experience working in Data Mesh architecture patterns

• Advanced Data Modelling knowledge (conceptual, logical and physical)

• Knowledge of Data Mesh or Domain oriented architectiures

• Good understanding of data modelling techniques preferably Dimensional Modelling

• Hands on experience working with dbt & Big Query

• Domain Knowledge around Private Market with key focus around Real Assets and Real estate.

• Strong analytical skills highly capable of driving insights and making data-driven decisions.

• Adaptability and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches.

• Strong business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.

Delivery Approach & Ways of Working

• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.

• Use of JIRA and Confluence for delivery management and documentation.

• Proven track record collaborating effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams across engineering, product and analytics.

Experience & Other

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Self‑starter able to lead components independently while partnering closely with internal teams.

• Preferred working in Agile and scrum teams and iterative delivery

• TOGAF or any other related certification
