MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AI/Data Architect to join our team full time on-site in Tampa, FL. This role supports U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT), focusing on data visualization, dashboard creation, and operational analytics using the latest government AI platforms rather than custom software development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysists in using and maximizing the capabilities of existing government AI and data platforms to support Special Operations missions.
  • Design, build, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and data visualizations that provide situational awareness and decision support.
  • Aggregate data from disparate sources ensuring data integrity and readiness for interpretation by Command staff.
  • Act as a liaison between technical data streams and operational decision-makers, translating complex data sets into clear visual narratives.
  • Configure and tune data views within the platform to meet specific mission requirements without the need for custom software development.
  • Identify data gaps and coordinate with platform engineers to ensure the necessary data is available for analysis.
  • Train and mentor government staff on how to effectively interact with dashboards and data tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience and 8 or more years of experience
  • Experience utilizing government-standard AI/Data platforms or enterprise-scale BI tools in a federal setting
  • Expert-level ability to create dashboard-heavy visualizations that simplify complex data for executive leadership
  • Strong SQL skills and experience manipulating and querying data within established architectures
  • Experience with Python and machine learning library such as NumPy or Scikit-learn
  • Exceptional ability to present data findings and interpret analytics for non-technical stakeholders and military leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Prior experience supporting SOCOM, SOCCENT, or other Special Operations Forces components
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham. Knowledge of military operations, logistics, or intelligence data structures
  • Certifications in Data Visualization or Cloud platforms

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current and active TS with SCI Eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
