Data Architect-(CREQ248690)
A Data Architect is the visionary behind an organization's data ecosystem. They don't just manage data; they design the blueprints that define how data is collected, integrated, and stored to ensure it is secure, accessible, and scalable.
Think of them as the master urban planners for a digital city—ensuring the plumbing (pipelines) and skyscrapers (data warehouses) work together perfectly.
Core Responsibilities
The role is a mix of high-level strategy and deep technical execution.
Architecture Design: Developing end-to-end data strategies and blueprints for enterprise-level data models (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical).
Infrastructure Strategy: Evaluating and selecting cloud or on-premise platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Vector).
Data Governance & Security: Establishing standards for data quality and security protocols to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR or HIPAA.
ETL & Integration: Designing the frameworks for data movement—how data flows from source systems into lakes and warehouses.
Collaboration: Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders (who need insights) and data engineers (who build the systems).
