To support, maintain, and improve the day-to-day operation of data pipelines, reporting systems, integrations, and operational reporting infrastructure across Cin7 ERP, Shopify, marketplace platforms, 3PL systems, and reporting environments including Google BigQuery and Looker.
This role is responsible for ensuring reporting continuity, operational data accuracy, automation reliability, and integration stability while supporting business continuity across operational systems and reporting processes.
· Ensure daily data pipelines and reporting run reliably

· Monitor scheduled data pipelines (API pulls, data loads, transformations)
· Extract and load data into Google BigQuery from Cin7 and connected platforms via APIs
· Maintain and monitor data within Google BigQuery
· Run SQL queries for validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
· Monitor scheduled jobs, API syncs, and reporting refreshes daily
· Perform proactive checks to ensure business-critical reporting remains operational
· Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate pipeline failures with clear documentation of findings
· Maintain and update dashboards in Looker (or similar BI tools)
· Create and maintain Looker dashboards and reporting datasets using BigQuery data
· Support development and maintenance of operational dashboards based on business requirements
· Validate dashboard data against source systems
· Support structured operational and management reporting outputs
· Run and maintain scripts for order processing, data syncing, and reporting
· Automate recurring report generation and customer report distribution
· Monitor script performance and resolve operational issues
· Support improvements to automation and reporting processes
· Support integrations between Cin7, Shopify, marketplace platforms, 3PL systems, and B2B platforms
· Monitor marketplace and external platform data feeds
· Assist in identifying root causes of integration and data sync issues
· Support maintenance and troubleshooting of marketplace integrations
· Perform reconciliation across Cin7, Shopify, 3PL, marketplace, and reporting systems
· Identify discrepancies and escalate issues
· Support warehouse stock reconciliation with Cin7
· Ensure high levels of data accuracy across inventory, shipment, and operational reporting
· Prepare recurring inventory and shipment reports
· Maintain operational trackers (inventory, inbound shipments, stock availability)
· Prepare weekly KPI packs for operations and management
· Support data preparation for planning and financial analysis
· Assist with data cleansing and product data preparation
· Create and maintain SOPs for recurring tasks
· Document data flows, APIs, scripts, reporting logic, and recovery procedures
· Support knowledge transfer and standardisation
· Ensure recurring operational tasks can be executed using documented processes
· Support continuity planning for reporting and operational systems
· 3–6 years experience in data operations, reporting, systems support, or business intelligence environments
· Strong SQL skills for querying, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
· Experience with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse
· Experience working with APIs and data integrations
· Experience with dashboard tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
· Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
· Ability to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and integration failures across multiple systems
· Strong written communication and issue escalation skills
· Ability to work independently in a remote environment
· Strong attention to detail and operational mindset
· Python or scripting experience
· ERP experience (Cin7 preferred)
· E-commerce or marketplace platform experience
· Experience with automated reporting workflows
· Experience working within retail, distribution, or supply chain environments
· Must be available for overlap with NZ business hours
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
· Ability to manage recurring operational tasks consistently and accurately

· Operational dashboards are accurate and trusted by the business

· Business-critical reporting continues reliably during staff absences or transitions
