The Data and Reporting Analyst - Senior will play a pivotal role in transforming complex ITSM and operational data into actionable insights that enhance service performance and strategic decision-making. This position involves leading the design and evolution of enterprise reporting solutions utilizing Power BI, ServiceNow, and various integrated data sources, thereby enabling a proactive, insight-driven operational environment.

Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE based on performance

Hours: Standard 9am to 5pm

Pay: T4: $60 / IC: $69

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into ITSM performance, KPIs, and operational health.
• Integrate and analyze data from ServiceNow (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB), cloud, infrastructure, and application sources.
• Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform proactive trend analysis to identify systemic issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize reporting needs, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Establish and maintain standard reporting frameworks, KPI definitions, and data models.
• Ensure data quality, governance, integrity, and documentation across reporting solutions.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to support data-informed decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.
• Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM data (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB) and operational reporting.
• Proven ability to translate data into meaningful insights and compelling narratives for business and leadership audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Experience working cross-functionally and engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills are essential.
• Experience in Information Technology environments, preferably within financial services.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM data.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes.
• Proficiency in business process mapping, requirements documentation, and solution design.

PREFERRED

• Previous experience in the financial services industry.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
