We are seeking an experienced Data and Reporting Analyst – Intermediate to support the development and ongoing management of operational dashboards for the NA Integrated Solutions group within Canadian Commercial Banking. This role will focus on dashboard administration, data refresh operations, user access management, and Agile delivery support.
The successful candidate will work closely with business partners, data teams, and technology stakeholders in a highly collaborative Agile environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst looking to deepen hands-on experience with intermediate-to-advanced SQL, Power BI administration, and enterprise dashboard operations within a large financial institution, with mentorship and exposure to mature data practices.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days in office, remote Fridays)
Contract Length: 13 Months (Mat Leave Coverage)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (7.5 hours/day)
Pay Rate: T4: 44/hour IC: $50/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Administration, Maintenance & Change Management
Manage security updates, including submitting Active Directory access requests for new users.
Maintain and update tables that drive row-level security for dashboards.
User Access & Support
Monitor and manage a shared inbox for dashboard access requests and user inquiries.
Respond to questions related to dashboard functionality and data.
Data Refresh Operations
Execute SAS jobs and SQL stored procedures to refresh key datasets.
Perform validation checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Communicate refresh status and issues to the broader team.
Dashboard Refresh & Validation
Schedule and execute dashboard refreshes on Ad Hoc servers.
Perform daily morning checks on key dashboards to confirm successful refreshes.
Investigate and remediate refresh issues as required.
Migration & Production Support
Submit Jira requests for production team activities.
Load dashboard files into GitHub repositories.
Validate dashboards post-publication in Ad Hoc and Production environments.
Agile Delivery Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
Gather and document requirements from meetings and stakeholder communications.
Create and maintain user stories in the Jira backlog.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
2–4 years of relevant experience in data, reporting, or analytics roles.
Intermediate-level SQL skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
Banking or financial services industry experience.
Experience with SAS.
Familiarity with GitHub and version control.
Experience using Jira in Agile environments.
Exposure to Power BI Server administration.
Highly collaborative, welcoming, and development-focused team.
