The Position
The Data and Platforms Lead is responsible for the day to day operation, delivery, and adoption of data platforms and core business systems and managing the customer, sales and market data across Animal Health business operations. This role ensures that teams effectively use data, tools, and processes to support commercial, operational, and decision making needs. The focus is on execution, system reliability, user enablement, and continuous improvement.rget audiences (clinics and pet’s owners), to stimulate CA business growth consistently.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Act as a thought leader for data, analytics, and platform modernization
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into data and platform capabilities, in line with local and global AH strategy
- Ensure consistency with global & TCM data strategy and standards; foster a data-driven culture.
- Define, lead and implement data management / integration with data sources from both internal and external to ensure the data quality for integration into the data warehouse and usability for downstream analytics and business application
- Lead data governance, standards, processes, tools and platforms for all customer channels.
- Ensure timely resolution of data issues and inconsistencies.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with policies
- Support audits, reporting needs, and compliance requirements related to data and systems.
- Ensure reliable operational and performance reporting from integrated platforms and external data sources
- Work with business users to refine dashboards and reports to meet real world needs, delivering real insight to drive data driven decision making
- Support ad hoc data requests and routine performance tracking
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and usage KPIs
- Own the operational management of data platforms, including CRM, e-commerce (BI Webshop) and related business systems
- Act as the primary point of contact for system performance issues
- Translate business needs into practical system improvements
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and internal teams on system upgrades, fixes, releases and any new platform implementation projects
- Monitor platform usage, data quality, and operational KPIs.
- Drive effective adoption and consistent use of CRM and other enterprise systems by business teams.
- Define and enforce standard operating processes (SOPs) for CRM and data usage.
- Identify and address gaps in usage, adoption, or process adherence.
- Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing refresher training for CRM, data tools, and platforms
- Act as a hands-on support resource for users, especially during new system rollouts or changes.
