As a Senior Data Analyst in Customer Technical Success (CTS), you will help teams make better decisions by turning trusted data into actionable insights. Partnering with business stakeholders, you will understand priorities, define success metrics, analyse customer and operational data, and deliver recommendations that improve customer experience and business outcomes.

You will communicate insights through compelling storytelling and visualisation, presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will join the CTS Data & Analytics team of BI developers, analysts, and analytics engineers supporting the global CTS organisation. The team is focused on accelerating data-driven decision making through self-service analytics, KPI alignment, faster insights, and responsible AI adoption.

Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, this hybrid role requires regular attendance in the office (ideally weekly).

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, define success metrics, and deliver actionable analysis.
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis, from problem definition through recommendations, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Assess the impact of business strategies and communicate insights to support decision-making at all levels.
  • Use SQL, BI tools, Python, and approved AI tools to accelerate analysis, identify patterns, generate hypotheses, and improve speed to insight.
  • Act as the data subject matter expert for your business area, ensuring appropriate use of datasets and maintaining awareness of data quality and model limitations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, improve self-service analytics, and reduce manual or low-value analysis.
  • Apply AI responsibly to accelerate analytical workflows (for example, summarising support interactions, identifying themes, or exploratory analysis), validating outputs for accuracy, bias, privacy, and business relevance before sharing recommendations.
  • Contribute to improving metrics, data models, and the overall Autodesk data ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with BI/data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Experience with statistical analysis techniques and tools.
  • Working knowledge of Python for analysis, automation, or data mining.
  • Experience using approved AI/GenAI tools to support analytical workflows.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, privacy, bias, and business relevance.
  • Excellent communication, data storytelling, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Customer Support, Customer Success, or similar organisations.
  • Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
  • Snowflake.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You enjoy solving business problems using data and turning complex datasets into practical recommendations.
  • You seek to understand the business context and customer experience behind the numbers.
  • You communicate insights through clear, compelling data stories that influence decisions.
  • You build strong partnerships with stakeholders to answer important business questions.
  • You use AI as an accelerator—not a substitute for critical thinking—by validating outputs, challenging assumptions, and applying sound judgement.
