As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll work at the center of the Connected Aviation business, conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement that drive measurable change in our organization. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a real impact while gaining exposure to cutting edge aviation company.

You won’t just observe—you’ll analyze, improve, and help implement solutions that make the organization faster, smarter, and more efficient.

What You Will Do:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Data Visualization: Develop and refine data visualizations and interactive dashboards to help business partners quickly interpret trends, insights, and KPIs.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

What You Will Learn:

  • Develop your teamwork and collaboration skills by working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering and customer facing teams to support business initiatives.
  • Get hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, reporting, metrics and KPIs.
  • Learn to create and deliver presentations that effectively convey your findings and recommendations.
  • Learn process mapping and analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Learn how to approach complex problems, break them down into manageable parts, and develop data-driven solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualizations in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or other data analytics tools
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, ServiceNow or other data visualization tools

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with data science, data visualizations and data analytics

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
