As a Data Analytics Insights Intern, you'll play an active role in helping Assurant's business partners make smarter, data-driven decisions. You'll work with modern analytics tools, build impactful dashboards and reports, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and learn how data powers business strategy. What You'll Do

Create Value Through Data (60%)

• Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Develop engaging dashboards, reports, visualizations, and presentations that identify opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze large and diverse datasets to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Conduct research and build analytical studies that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Continuously improve existing analytical solutions using modern tools, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.

Communicate Insights (20%)

• Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Use data storytelling techniques to simplify complex information and influence decision-making.
• Build compelling business cases supported by analysis and evidence.
• Help promote a data-driven culture by educating both technical and non-technical audiences on analytics and reporting.

Support Data Strategy (20%)

• Contribute to enterprise-wide Data as a Product initiatives.
• Support data modeling, governance, and data quality best practices.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to improve data accessibility and usability.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to ensure business continuity.

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in:

  • Or a related field
• Completed at least the second year of undergraduate studies and currently in the third or fourth year of your program.
• Experience working with:
