Job Description

• IDC is looking for a Data Engineer to join our in Czech Republic. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge cloud solutions to collect, import, load, clean, integrate, and process data from a variety of large datasets. You will also help design and build new data pipelines to enhance our existing products, enabling technology vendors to better understand their markets, customers, and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the analyst market experts and data science team to develop data models and cloud pipelines for market research, reporting, and generative AI.
• Use data and build up to date datasets to solve business problems, answer questions and improve processes.
• Help drive scalable data sharing and integration practices.
• Define metrics, guidelines and strategies for effective use of algorithms and data.
• Build and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal ETL frameworks and processes that collect, import, load, clean, integrate and process data from various internal and external data sources using SQL and AWS technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, data science, information technology, mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience in data engineering or roles related to data engineering.
• Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of object-oriented programming in Python.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Proven ability to work independently and ensure completion of tasks accurately and on time.
• Strong English communication skills in both verbal and written form.
• Open to learn new technologies and tools.
• Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in ML.
• Data engineering in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
• Proven work experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Airflow, NoSQL databases, or distributed computing.
• Familiarity with machine learning and Gen AI
