Albemarle is hiring for a Data and Analytics Architect This position is Hybrid, located in Bengaluru.

The Data & Analytics Architect will lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise data and analytics solutions across functions. This role is responsible for developing scalable Azure-based data platforms, integrating enterprise applications, enabling business reporting, and driving data modernization initiatives.

The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with solution architecture leadership and partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver trusted, scalable, and business-critical analytics solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise data platforms using Azure technologies.

  • Develop and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Databricks workloads, and cloud data integrations.

  • Establish scalable data models and integration patterns.

  • Drive data quality, governance, security, and operational excellence.

  • Lead architecture reviews and technical solution design activities.

  • Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and governance.

  • Build and support reporting datasets and dashboards.

  • Enable integration strategies for Salesforce, SAP and Workday

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

  • 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud data technologies.

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale integration projects.

  • Strong experience working with multiple business functions including HR, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams.

  • Experience managing solution lifecycle from requirements gathering through production support.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Experience leading technical discussions with architects, engineers, and business leaders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on execution.

Technical Skills

Azure Ecosystem Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL

Data Engineering: SQL, Python, ETL development, Data Warehousing

Preferred: Reporting & Analytics (Power BI or any similar application), experience with Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Planning
