THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented contract team member to support our Technology Teams in building a QuickSight product within the TechInsights Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful data migration and visualization project—helping to better integrate and surface parts and reports data for our technology analysts and clients. If you enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology, and collaboration, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Review existing Excel worksheets and collaborate with the Technical Product Manager and Technology Team members to verify requirements and validate work product.
  • Work with the Platform and Data teams on the data flows from Excel worksheets to Amazon QuickSight dashboards embedded in our Platform.
  • Participate in regular sync-up meetings and contribute input on recommendations and progress updates.
  • Incorporate feedback from Technology Teams and product owners to refine data visualizations and reports.
  • Prepare data sets for visualization in QuickSight by normalizing Excel tables for ingestion into a database.
  • Support the delivery of specific in-house data products, including: analytics dashboards in the Platform; Online Data Reports (ODR) to replace Excel downloads; an ODR to replace the Sensors Content Navigator; and automated/refreshing data charts to replace static Excel charts in briefings.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • A Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience with Amazon QuickSight or a similar data visualization and analytics tool.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collate and synthesize notes and requirements from multiple teams.
  • Strong interest in data structures and visualization.
  • Interest in and knowledge of technology, including components that make up modern tech devices.
  • Understanding of key metrology for semiconductors is of particular interest.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
This role is on-site at our Ottawa office. This position is a temporary contract until the end of 2026.
