The contingent worker will provide operational support to the APAC Sustainable Finance Data (SFD) team, primarily covering the Japan market and supporting Parent & Consolidated (P/C) market operations. Responsibilities include managing escalations and stakeholder inquiries, maintaining operational documentation, monitoring workflows and ticket queues, and supporting knowledge management. The role will also help alleviate operational workload, enabling the team to focus on strategic initiatives such as the extraction project and process improvement efforts. Additionally, the contingent worker will contribute to operational efficiency by identifying and supporting workflow optimization opportunities.
We'll trust you to:
- Manage day-to-day operational inquiries and escalations from internal stakeholders and external data vendors through the internal ticketing system.
- Support operational activities for the Japan and Parent & Consolidated (P/C) markets to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor ticket queues and operational workflows to ensure timely resolution and adherence to service expectations.
- Maintain and update operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge articles.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach in delivering assigned responsibilities.
You'll need to have:
- Business proficiency or above in both Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in operations, financial data, ESG, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and data wrangling techniques for data analysis and operational support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactiveness and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
