Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a(n) Senior Data Analyst, located in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

The Senior Data Analyst, Surgery & Electrophysiology will be the owner of all curated data sets from generation to integration in systems. They will support the Data manager by performing analytics and driving insights into the business through the development of dashboard and reporting capabilities. Subject matter authority on data visualization tools built in Tableau as well as lead future analytics and CRM solutions to improve decision making and increase efficiency within the organization. Voice of the customer when planning future enhancements to systems. Lead improvements and partner frequently with the Business Technology teams to improve existing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining all business curated data from inception to maintenance inclusive of all alignment solutions and other data elements that enable analytics in the business while ensuring that all data quality controls are met through various means.
  • Work with business partners to provide standardized reporting solutions to the business questions or priorities and train partners in data related items.
  • Owns new customer creation and alignment strategies which require close collaboration with the Compensation specialists of each BU.
  • Supports translating strategic priorities into business needs and organizing/visualizing information to address those business needs by using tools like Tableau, Power BI or other data languages.
  • Supports Customer Experience Management data needs.
  • Work closely with the Data Manager to execute essential data needs for the organization.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent, in Business, Marketing, Finance, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Business Analytics
  • Advanced Tableau/Power BI knowledge and experience in database modelling and programming
  • Advanced SAP and EXCEL
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Agile design methodology and Scrum team organization
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate into impactful items at the strategic and tactical levels
  • Exhibit creative thinking, leadership and strong problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit strong presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of other data languages like Python or SAS
  • French language proficiency preferred
