AXON Networks is seeking an Engineer in Telecommunications or a related field for a Data Analyst Solutions Engineer position to work on AXON Networks products to improve access or WiFi networks of Global ISPs, such as DT, Telefónica or Bouygues.
Your main responsibility is contributing to delivery tasks for the AXON Networks software products for the management of the access or WiFi networks. For this, it will be required to have advanced technical knowledge of underlying technologies (PON, Wi-Fi), and in depth technical knowledge of the algorithms developed in AXON Networks products. Additionally, you will collaborate on the delivery phase to provide best in class solutions through data analysis, in-line with customer requirements, and to provide expert technical assistance, support and training to customers. You would leverage existing product features and analyze the need for their improvements / development of new ones in order to alleviate ISP pain points.

Responsibilities:
Technical Technology Expert Support for AXON Networks products algorithms.
Support to troubleshoot identified issues in the field.
Support on the validation of new Backend releases or hardware equipment.
Provide customized designs and configurations adapted to customer deployments.
Provide customized reports and analysis adapted to customer requirements
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
Master of science in Telecommunication or related fields, PhD degree is a plus
Experience working on physical layer of communication systems.
Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable.
Experience in collection, tests definition, analysis, reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments.
Experience with database languages such as SQL and Mongo DB.
Experience in control version systems, as GIT.
Experience in algorithm analysis using MATLAB or other programming languages.
Familiarity with Linux (as user) as well as programming in scripting languages like Python.
Experience in network analysis tools (e.g. iPerf, Wireshark).
Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms
