To maximise the value of the Research product through the targeting and marketing of content to Clients and ensuring best practice in negotiating and collecting revenue.

Join us a Data Analyst - Research within the Research Metrics team under Global Research Centre. The overall purpose of the role is to:
Produce regular and ad hoc management information and exception reports for business management and client strategy teams, involving the integration of data from multiple sources and presenting data using relevant tools like Excel and SAP BO.
Drive delivery of key reports and help provide valuable business/monetization analysis for multiple stakeholders in research
Understand the business model of Barclays Global Research and partner with Key Stakeholders to build analytical solutions that can solve business problems and drive insights.
Key Accountabilities
The main duties of the job will be composed of the following:
Understanding the Global Research business and products we offer to our clients.
Supporting Research Sales and Client Strategy with key insights on client consumption and revenue reporting.
Partnering with IT and business to define data onboarding requirements and helping IT teams with UAT and signoffs.
Communicate directly with the stakeholders on a regular basis to discuss issues/solutions for continuous improvement
Supporting BAU reporting/data upload for client feeds and fixing issues that impact their delivery
Delivering/Maintaining interactive tools and advanced dashboards by using Tableau, Business Objects and MS Excel.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
As part of a global team, the Mumbai based individual will be directly required to interact and work with different stakeholders in Research various regions and time zones. The individual will require exceptionally strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Analytics/MBA from a tier-2 institute with hands on experience in BI, Business Analytics and operational activities
Proficient in advanced MS Excel using Macros and MS Office applications (good Powerpoint presentation skills are preferred)
Experience in data visualization and data analytics using Tableau (or similar BI tool) is must
Ability to quickly grasp concepts and implement them
Knowledge of financial concepts such as equity & debt financial instruments and the research business would be an added advantage
Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
