Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist (Expat)

Location: DRC (Site-Based, Rotation)
Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist to support our client's project team by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making across project and portfolio performance.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analysing, and interpreting data, and producing high-quality reports and dashboards. You will work closely with project teams to provide management-level reporting, track performance, and highlight variances against forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collect, clean, and organise data from multiple sources

  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations for stakeholders

  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations

  • Monitor project and portfolio performance against forecasts

  • Standardise reporting formats and ensure consistency across projects

  • Collaborate with project teams and SMEs to gather insights and validate data

  • Support data-driven decision-making across project functions

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in data analysis within mining or mineral processing environments

  • Experience supporting projects in an EPCM environment

  • Strong skills in data analysis, modelling, and reporting

  • Experience with data visualisation tools and reporting platforms

  • Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams

  • Previous expat experience in Africa advantageous
